The Cheesecake Factory is well known for its vast menu of desserts as well as its illustrious flavors. So it was my job to test out that theory in respect to their buffalo wings. While the rest of my family’s food came out hot and ready to eat, mine seemed to be missing. The manager quickly followed that up with an, “I apologize that your dish is not ready. I had the kitchen remake your wings because they were overcooked, and I could not let that go out the door.” I am paraphrasing, but you get the idea. This was a great thing to hear, as I will always be happier getting well-prepared food at a later time, than its unsatisfactory version quickly.
Now that I have my wings, I can see right off the bat that they look crispy with nice coloring and a simple side of celery. The wings were lightly breaded which is something I normally do not prefer, but rather enjoyed in this case. They only have one sauce which was the standard buffalo-style flavor we have come to expect, and it was actually quite good… by itself. The only problem that I had with this meal was that the garlic added to the batter was too much for my liking. When mixed with the hot sauce, it gave it a pungent kick that was more like a sharp spice that eventually became too much to handle.
In my opinion, there was just too much garlic for my liking, and it turns ugly after too much sauce mixture. My advice would be to eat them as they come, do not add any more sauce, and take them in stride. Then when finished, open up the menu to enjoy what The Cheesecake Factory really specializes in… Great Dessert!!
